Zionista Rising was a semifinalist for the McNally New Works Incubator at Rattlestick.

The Creature had a wonderful workshop with Circle in the Square Theatre School directed by Galia Backal and a fantastic workshop production at AADA directed by Sarah Blush.

Winter 2024

The Creature is a part of the inaugural Circle in the Square Theatre School Emerging Writers Residency.

Fall 2023

The Creature received the Kernodle New Play Award from the University of Arkansas.

I ascended from Clubbed Thumb groupie to Clubbed Thumb artist as a member of the 2022-2023 Early-Career Writers Group, where I’m mentored by Madeleine George.

My MTC/Sloan commission was announced.

So sublime was a semifinalist for the Civilians R&D group.

Zionista Rising was nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.

I joined BMI’s Musical Theatre Bookwriting Basics class, because in my oh-so-abundant free time I’ve also decided to write the libretto for a musical.

Summer 2023

The Creature was a finalist for the Playwrights Realm’s Writing Fellowship!

Woohoo, I graduated with my MFA in Playwriting from Brown! Yay yay!

I’m headed to Ragdale in August to work on my MTC/Sloan commission Permanently, Painlessly.

The Creature was a finalist for the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference!

Zionista Rising had a wonderful, productive workshop at the Playwrights Center; I’m looking forward to further developing it with the Jewish Plays Project, where the play has had multiple regional contest wins.

The Creature was a finalist for Seven Devils Playwrights Conference.

I’ll be teaching at the Playwrights Center/Augsburg University in Summer 2024! It will be their first time offering “Writing for Digital Media” - excited to dive into game writing, audio fiction, and more!

Psychopsychotic returns to Brown University in an undergrad production.

I’ll be developing Zionista Rising at the Playwrights Center in May! I’ve enjoyed working on the play thus far as part of the PWC Core Apprentice program, supported by my mentor Sheila Callaghan.

Here’s some more about that: Jo and Mona are married, Jo and Mona live in a beautiful house, Jo and Mona have wonderful friends visiting for the weekend, Jo and Mona don’t know about the two Teen Things lurking in the shadows, waiting, waiting… A queer horror play about freaky deer, performing adulthood, pre-prom rituals, and the violent pleasures of Kitchen-Aid stand-mixers.

My nascent performance text Family Daughter (about gothic literature, the family body, and Ashley X) was a finalist for the Starr Reading Series.

I am a staff writer on an upcoming Netflix series.

Fall 2022

I am a finalist for the 2023 Jewish Plays Project.

Summer 2022

I signed with Tracy Kopulsky and Merideth Bajana at Grandview for management.

The Creature was nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.

I received a Sloan commission from Manhattan Theatre Club to develop Permanently, Painlessly, a send-up of early 20th century lesbian tragedy that dives into the secret history of X-ray hair removal.

I was selected as a Core Apprentice at the Playwrights Center for the 2022-2023 school year.

I’ll be attending Fresh Ground Pepper’s BRB Retreat as a Resident Artist!

I joined Orchard Project Audio Lab to develop Possession into a podcast.

I’ll be in my Hanukkah palace sold out Ars Nova ANT Fest, now lives online at Ars Nova Supra. The Barbie props live in my apartment.
